This is translated to: When you come to Christina Shusho concert, come with your good phones, we want to take high-quality videos.
They declared through a video that had been circulated online.
In the video, the youths were showcasing different mobile phones they had allegedly stolen from victims.
"Hii koti ikona chawa, kujia hii koti yako," another one shouted from the back.
The office of the director of criminal investigations said the five youths were arrested by officers based in Central police station, Mombasa.
"The individuals are suspected to be members of an organised criminal group that has been operating within the Sargoi area and its neighbourhoods," police said.
Police said its team recovered a navy blue jacket that had been captured in the video recording, three iPhones, a Samsung phone, a Memojo phone, and a Bluetooth headphone among other items.
"The five have been processed pending arraignment."
