Last call: Nominations for Star Person of the Year ends today

The nominations have been trickling in since November 7.

Kenyans have until Friday, December 1, 2023 midnight to nominate their preferred candidate for the prestigious  “Star Person of the Year” award. 

The Star is inviting nominations for Kenyans or leaders who have done exemplary well within the year to influence key events and lives.

These people can be leaders, teachers, politicians, mama mboga and any other person, who you feel has changed their environment, helped other people achieve their goals, and improved the lives of others. 

By nominating these people for the 'Star Person of the Year' award, you get to share their work, let people who do the same work know, and identify them. 

The nominees also get to be recognised for their exemplary work and encourage others to be of goodwill.

What are the qualities the team is looking into for one to be crowed? 

  • A person who strives to make Kenya or their community a better place to live and work.

  • A person who has greatly helped, inspired or brought honour to Kenya.
  • A person who has invented a solution that has dramatically changed lives and;

  • A person of integrity or an individual who has stood against impunity and promoted good governance.
  • Anybody who has helped alleviate poverty or is an environment champion?
