How to nominate 'Star Person of the Year' candidate

The last nomination date has been set for December 1.

  • The Committee will evaluate nominated persons before settling on the ultimate winner.

Every year since 2018, The Star Kenya has been recognising Kenyans or leaders who have done exemplary well in influencing lives or working towards that. 

The winner of the prestigious “Star Person of the Year” will be unveiled in December. 

The nomination committee will be looking at the following to choose from the best; 

  • A person who strives to make Kenya or their community a better place to live and work.

  • A person who has greatly helped, inspired or brought honour to Kenya.
  • A person who has invented a solution that has dramatically changed lives and;

  • A person of integrity or an individual who has stood against impunity and promoted good governance.
  • Anybody who has helped alleviate poverty or is an environment champion?

The Committee will evaluate nominated persons before settling on the ultimate winner.

With the nomination date closure fast approaching, and having known what it takes to be selected, here is how you can nominate an individual. 

The last nomination date has been set for December 1. 

Steps;

1. Using your mobile phone/desktop/laptop, click this link which will take you to a form 

2. On the form, input your email, and the person you are nominating 

3. Put in clear wording on why you are nominating them for the prestigious award (You can go all out for your nominee)

4. Afterwards, share samples of their work, either links to social media pages, or a link to combined work they are doing or have previously done 

5. Counter-check the information before submitting. 

Remember you can nominate as many people as possible.
