A deputy governor has had his private Nairobi office shut down twice in a few months due to rent arrears of Sh3 million. The first time it was locked by auctioneers and the caretaker, the politician was taken to court and agreed to Sh100,000 weekly or the office would be padlocked. On Monday night at around 8pm, auctioneers arrived and chained the entrance. Sources tell Corridors they found nothing of value to take away.
