The Kenya National Highway Authority has temporarily closed a section of the Tegla Lorupe road.
In a statement released by KeNHA, they stated that the closure of the road is to allow the construction of a cross culvert.
"The Kenya National Highways Authority wishes to notify the public that there will be temporary closure of a section of the Tegla Lorupe between Moses Tanui Road junction (Tuffsteel) and Cosmas Ndeti Road junction,' the statement said.
KeNHA stated that the closure is set to commence on September 25, 2023, to October 2, all days inclusive.
"Motorists accessing Imara Daima and adjacent estates are therefore advised to turn right to Moses Tanui Road junction at Tuffsteel behind Imara Daima Hall and head straight and turn left to Cosmas Ndeti road," the statement said.
KeNHA cautioned motorists to approach the section with caution and follow the traffic signs and guidance as directed by Marshals and police.
