The Council of Governors Chair Anne Waiguru graced the official launch of the Badilico application.
In a statement released by the Office of the Council of Governors, it stated that the app was to be a game changer in terms of civic education through a gamified approach.
"Badilico Game is a technological innovation aimed at revolutionizing governance, public participation, and civic education through a gamified approach," the statement said.
The statement further stated that the app focuses on ideals and concepts of participation, deliberation, citizenship, and a robust youth sphere.
Additionally, it aims to bridge the gap between decision-makers and young people through technology.
''Its functional elements include gamification of public participation and governance, opinion polls, generation of useful data and public participation in a fun way, ''the statement stated.
The statement highlighted that the app engages youth at their own level hence ensuring their meaningful participation.
