KEBS announces 31-hour system maintenance

The Kenya Bureau of Standards has announced that they will have a 31-hour system maintenance and upgrade exercise.

In a statement on Tuesday, they said that the exercise is to enhance efficiency in their service delivery.

They noted that the exercise will be effective from August 5 to August 6.

"We wish to inform our esteemed stakeholders that KEBS will be undertaking a system maintenance/ upgrade/ migration exercise. In this regard we have planned for a 31-hour system downtime from Saturday, August 5, 16.00 hours to Sunday, August 6, 23.00 hours," the statement read.

They noted that during the indicated downtime period, all their online services or systems will not be available.

They requested all stakeholders with urgent transactions to submit their documents before the scheduled downtime period.

"We apologize for the inconvenience that may be caused as a result of this exercise," they said.
