Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has said the earlier announced system hitch has been resolved.
The hitch that had been caused by network breakdown resulted in the unavailability of some services including the purchase of prepaid tokens.
Customers using M Pesa and USSD Code *977# were unable to purchase tokens.
Earlier, they could only buy tokens from their banking halls, Airtel Money, and authorised banks.
The update on Thursday evening said the services have now resumed.
"Customers can now purchase tokens through M-Pesa and access other services through the USSD Code *977#," it said.
"We thank all our customers for their patience and continued support."
