Section of Kenyatta Avenue to be closed in phases from Tuesday

The Kenya National Highways Authority has announced that a section of Kenyatta Avenue at Uhuru Highway Roundabout will be closed in phases for 19 days starting Tuesday.

KeNHA said the closure will be done at off peak hours from 9pm to 4am, until Saturday, August 12. 

"This is to allow for re-installation of a Cross Culvert across Kenyatta Avenue," a Tuesday statement reads in part.

The re-installation will be done in scheduled phases with the first one from July 24 to July 26.

The second phase is from July 28 to August 1 while the third is from August 3 to August 7.

The forth and last scheduled phase will be done from August 8 to August 12, 2023.

The Highways Authority urged motorists to be cautious while using the road and cooperate with traffic police for smooth operations.
