Kenyans have said the best achievement of President William Ruto since he assumed office is the launch of the Hustler Fund.
This is according to the second release of the 2023 Current Issues Survey by Tifa which analysed the direction the country is headed in and the performance of the Kenya Kwanza government so far.
The report released on Thursday showed that as of March this year, 29 per cent of Kenyans thought of the Hustler Fund as Ruto's greatest achievement.
But as of June this year, only 10 per cent of Kenyans thought of the Fund as the President's greatest achievement.
Ruto's second-best achievement according to the Tifa survey is stabilising the cost of fertilisers.
As of March this year, only 5 per cent of Kenyans thought of Ruto's move to subsidise fertilisers to be his second-best achievement.
The opinion seemed to gain traction with time because by June this year, 6 per cent believed Ruto's move to subsidise fertilisers is a great achievement.
In March, 38 per cent of Kenyans felt Ruto had achieved nothing since he assumed office.
The number of people who felt Ruto had achieved nothing since August last year increased from 38 per cent to 51 per cent by June this year.
Tifa engaged 1,530 respondents who were interviewed during the June 24-30, 2023 period.
The sample was spread across nine regions which include Central Rift, Coast, Lower Eastern, Mt Kenya, Nairobi, Northern, Nyanza, South Rift and Western.
The interviews were conducted through the telephone with respondents whose contacts were collected through previous face-to-face interviews.
There was a +/- 2.5 % margin of error.
