Protester donning white underwear joins charged Kisumu protests

Some Azimio supporters have pulled such stunts in past demos

A female protestor in Kisumu showed up for Saba Saba protests donning white underwear on top of black trousers.

The act, which is among the many other stunts pulled by Azimio supporters during past demos, stunned many with some protesters surrounding her to get a glimpse of what was written on the underwear.

The unknown woman said that Kenyans are tired of everything that was happening in the country, including the high cost of living and the introduction of new taxes.

The white underwear was inscribed both in front and behind.

At the front part, the message read 'Fungua server' while the backside read 'Ruto and Gachagua tokeni State House'.

In March, during other protests, a frustrated Azimio Protester munched cow dung and juice within the Lakeside city.

When asked why he was taking that, the only thing that came from his mouth was 'Njaa Njaa Njaa' as he touched his stomach using one hand.

"Hakuna chakula, There is no food," he said.

During the same protest, a man wrapped up in a towel and a toothbrush in his mouth accompanied by his three-year-old son, who also donned a towel also took the streets to protest over the high cost of living in the country.

Erick said he is not afraid to bring his child along to protest because it is peaceful and they are not armed.

"I usually come out in a towel, even on election day I was like this, this is how I like to dress up. I do not have any worry about bringing my son along to protest because we are peaceful, we are not armed," he said
