Opposition Leader Raila Odinga has said if the election rigging in the country will not be resolved, there will be no peace.

Speaking during the Wiper Party prayer meeting in Yatta, Raila said his team is working on making rigging a very expensive enterprise that nobody will ever again think of rigging an election.

"Nobody will ever again think of rigging an election in this country. Without resolving this matter convincingly, there will be no peace," he said.

Raila insisted that the Azimio La Umoja coalition wants to know the truth about August 9, 2022, saying the servers must be opened.

"We have said we want to see the truth. Without resolving the rigging of elections convincingly, there will be no peace in this country. We went to court for justice but all we got was insults, matusi matupu," he said.

"Tunasema ata Supreme Court itachunguzwa."

The Supreme Court ruled that President William Ruto won the August 9, 2022 elections.

Raila's statements echo that of Human Rights activist turned politician Okiya Omtata who in September 2022 termed the language used in the judgment as synonymous to the one used by a particular male judge in his judicial declarations.

"I request that the Supreme Court judge who wrote the judgment shapes up. Dismissing the petitions was enough. When you insult one party it means you are with the other party," Omtatah said.

The court used words such as hot air, wild goose chase, and unproven hypothesis.
