Former Mukuruweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has urged former President Uhuru Kenyatta to forgive those who suspended him from the party.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Kabando said forgiveness is a hallmark of kindness.

"Forgiveness and reconciliation are hallmarks of kindness. I urge Uhuru to forgive, accept and move on," he said.

Kabando said Uhuru is too skirmished to continue swirling in muddy swamps.

He added that Uhuru could, alternatively, renounce his retirement benefits and join Maandamano to oversight the incumbent regime full-time.

Kabando said those spitting Uhuru from Jubilee were the greatest beneficiaries when Uhuru was in power.

"Jubilee officials now spitting Uhuru were the biggest beneficiaries of his 10-year presidency patronage. But there's no honour in our crude politics!" Kabando said.

He also blamed Uhuru saying he set the tone and formula for humiliating, brutalising and disdaining those who helped him most, for personal comfort.

Kabando said Uhuru's party time is up.

This comes after Jubilee party acting secretary general Kanini Kega moved to replace Uhuru with nominated MP Sabina Chege as party leader in an acting capacity.

The announcement came on Tuesday following a meeting attended by 22 out of 28 members.

Kega said the decision was made by the Jubilee National Executive Council.

"The office of the party leader is hereby declared vacant and pending the decision of the NDC, Sabina Chege will be the acting party leader of the Jubilee party," Kega said.
