Could President William Ruto have launched the same road twice?

Well, a tweet indicating that Ruto had launched Captain- Ndemi-Wanjohi-Kwa Matu-Geta-Kahuruko-Ndunyu Njeru road generated lots of buzzes after it emerged that he had commissioned the road five years ago.

In the recent tweet, Ruto is wearing a reflector jacket, checked shirt and white cap.

"Earlier launched the tarmacking of the 55km captain- Ndemi-Wanjohi-Kwa Matu-Geta-Kahuruko-Ndunyu Njeru and addressed wananchi at the Ndunyu Njeru trading centre at Ol Kalou town," Ruto's Thursday, April 6, 2023 tweet read.

While reacting to a post made on the President's Twitter handle on Thursday, Kenyans shared a tweet he made in 208 indicating that he had launched the road.

The post showed Ruto launching the road in Nyandarua County.

In the 2018 tweet, Ruto is wearing a navy blue suit and is in the company of other leaders.

"During the launch of construction works of the 55km Captain- Ndemi-Wanjohi-Kwa Matu-Geta-Kahuruko-Ndunyu Njeru and Access to Karima Girls High School Roads at Captain and Opening of Ol Kalou CDF office, Ol Kalou Nyandarua county," Ruto's November 16, 2018 tweet read.

Kenyans took to Twitter to react to the developments even as some wondered how the same road could be launched twice.
