Protestors have left journalists in stitches after they demanded fresh teargas from the police.

They said they only want teargas manufactured in 2023 thrown at them.

"Tunataka ile imeandikwa 2023, ile fresh ndio tuskie utamu wa maandamano," they said.

This is loosely translated: We want the one manufactured in 2023 so that we can enjoy the demonstrations.

They also want the police to remove the roadblocks to allow them to join other protestors in the CBD.

Earlier, they stoned a vehicle owned by a media house that was ferrying media personnel covering the demo.
