Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has told Azimio leader Raila Odinga he will be held responsible if anything goes wrong during Monday’s mass action in Nairobi.
Speaking in Nandi, the vocal lawmaker said Raila should pay the price should there be bloodshed or destruction of property in the city.
“You will be arrested because you will be the one who brought the chaos,” he stated.
Cherargei added that the country belong belongs to all Kenyan and not certain people.
“We are all Kenyans. President William Ruto also has his supporters. We will meet in Nairobi. If you come with 100,000 supporters, we will come with 300,000 people,” he stated.
The Nandi senator added that Raila will not succeed in intimidating, blackmailing or coercing President William Ruto to a handshake.
Cherargei said Raila forced his way into the late President Moi’s government, got half the government during late President Mwai Kibaki's reign and forced a handshake with retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He, however, said there will be no dialogue, no handshake or negotiations with President William Ruto.
"Enough is enough. We are sorting Tinga once and for all because he cannot hold the entire country hostage. We are liberating Luo Nyanza from his yoke of servitude.”
