All eyes will be on former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i as  Opposition Chief Raila Odinga takes Azimio rallies to Kisii on Friday.

The rally comes at a time when Matiangi is being investigated by the DCI who raided his Karen home on Wednesday.

It is not known whether the former CS will attend the rally or not.

IEBC awarded million from election petitions

IEBC was awarded a total of Sh400 million by Courts from the 2013,17 election petitions, the Parliamentary committee told.

Commission's CEO Marjan Hussein Marjan has however said they are yet to recover it.

The costs were awarded after successfully challenging the cases lodged by various politicians.

Drunk driving regulations

National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) will have a public participation forum on draft motor vehicle inspection and drunk driving regulations (2023) at Utalii Hotel.

Kisii county

The ethics and Anti-corruption commission now say it will take legal action against any person who secured employment illegally in Kisii county.

The commission further says it will be seeking to recover salaries earned as a result.

Protests

Kenyans Against Violence, a civil society group press conference on a petition against Azimio for allegedly violating the code of conduct at the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.

Parliament Education Committee

The Committee on Education will on Friday hold consultative meetings on the Supplementary Estimates for the 2022/2023 Financial Year.

They meet with State Department for Basic Education and its Agencies and with the State Department for Higher Education and its Agencies
