Two men were on Wednesday sentenced to death after being convicted of robbery with violence charges.
Nakuru Principal Magistrate Yvonne Khatambi handed the Kevin Matundura and his accomplice Joram Njoroge the capital punishment.
Matundura was also sentenced to seven years in jail for being in possession of a firearm.
He was further sentenced to seven years imprisonment for being in possession of ammunition without holding a firearm certificate.
His co-accused was further sentenced to 20 years for rape.
While delivering her verdict, the magistrate noted that the two are repeat offenders and hardcore criminals.
Prosecution lead by Rachel Mwangi proved the cases.
