The Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at late George Magoha's at Odera Akang’o University  for the burial.

Uhuru was received by ICT CS Eliud Owalo amid cheers from the crowd.

Magoha passed away on January 24 at the Nairobi Hospital aged 71.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga is also expected to attend the burial that will be taking place at Magoha's Umiru home in Siaya.

Thousands of mourners have turned up to give their final respect to Magoha.

Also in attendance are former Cabinet Secretaries including Farida Karoney, Rachel Omamo as well as Siaya Governor James Orengo and Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo.

Former Jubilee Secretary Raphel Tuju is the MC for the day.

Magoha's body arrived in Siaya on Friday aboard a Kenya Airforce helicopter ahead of his burial.

Some of those expected to give their tributes include representatives from Maseno University, academicians and the Siaya County Government.

Others include a representative of doctors/ surgeons, a representative of former colleagues, Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo and a representative from the government.

Family tributes are then expected to start from 12.00 noon beginning with his brother John Obare, his son Michael Magoha and his widow Barbara Magoha.

The requiem Mass in honor of Magoha will then start at 12.30pm led by the Most Reverend Maurice Muhatia of the Archbishop of Kisumu.
