It comes as no surprise as Tuju and Magoha had a different level of friendship outside the Jubilee government.

After Magoha’s death on January 24, 2023, Tuju revealed that Magoha had complained of fatigue a day before he died.

According to Tuju, Magoha had attributed the fatigues to the planning of his brothers' burial.

"He was fine, he told me he was exhausted but that could be attributed to the running up and down organising for the burial of his brother whose body was arriving in the country," he said.

The two had even met the day before the tragic death and Tuju said his friend was in high spirits.

"I was in this house on Monday afternoon when we were discussing the funeral arrangements of Prof Nyabera, his brother," Tuju said then.

Tuju said that Magoha did not show any sign of having health challenges that they even sat and talked.

Magoha will be laid to rest at his home in Umiru, Nyamnina on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
