Several passengers have sustained injuries following a road accident at the black spot, Mamboleo junction on the Kakamega-Kisumu road.
The accident occurred after the driver lost control of the Greenline bus due to a brake failure and veered off the road before it rolled.
A senior police officer at the scene said several passengers have been rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital with various injuries following the Sunday morning incident.
He said rescue operations are still on and no death has so far been reported.
The exact number of passengers who were on the bus is yet to be known.
