Raila arrives at late Magoha residence, comforts family

Azimio leader Raila Odinga visited the family of late Prof George Magoha Wednesday at the Lavington residence in Nairobi.

His visit came moments after a similar visit by Azimio executive director Raphael Tuju.

Several leaders have continued to troop to the home to condole with the family over the loss even as tributes continue to pour.

Images captured by the Star showed the Azimio leader comforting the wife of the former CS Barbara Magoha.

Magoha, 71, passed on Tuesday evening at the Nairobi Hospital.

"It is with great regret that we announce the sudden and untimely demise of Professor George Magoha this evening at The Nairobi Hospital," The Nairobi Hospital  CEO James Nyamongo said in a statement.
