Detective impound 200 cartons of counterfeit alcoholic drinks

Detectives on Tuesday impounded a consignment of counterfeit alcoholic drinks allegedly affixed with fake stamps at a residential property in Nairobi. 

DCI said that in the operation, over 200 cartons were recovered. 

"One suspect was arrested during the raid and is currently in custody being processed for arraignment," DCI said.

"Also recovered was an alcohol mixer."

The drinks were packaged in branded bottles.
