Commission advertises four slots for TTC chief principal

Interested teachers advised to submit their applications on or before January 31.

Teachers Service Commission is set to recruit four chief principals to serve in teachers' training colleges.

In an advert seen by the Star, TSC had invited applications from suitably qualified teachers.

"Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal," the advert read.

TSC directed interested teachers to submit their applications on or before January 31.

The commission said manual applications brought by applicants will not be considered.

"A teacher must have served as Senior Principal at T- Scale 14 for a minimum period of three years," the advert reads.

TSC also requires teachers to have a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal and performance contracting process.

"Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution and meet any other requirement deemed necessary by the Commission," the advert read.

Before appointment to hold any position, the commission said successful individuals shall be required to present valid Chapter 6 documents.
