ODM leader Raila Odinga has said IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati should be taken to Hague for allegedly committing crimes against humanity.
"Chebukati anatakikana kupelekwa Hague, ashtakiwe kwa yale maovu amefanya dhidi ya watu wa Kenya, yale ambayo amefanya ni crimes against humanity," he said
This is loosely translated to, Chebukati should be taken to the Hague, and be charged for what he has done to the people of Kenya, what he has done is equal to crimes against humanity.
Speaking in Mombasa, Odinga also alleged that Chebukati did an evil act by announcing President William Ruto as the winner of the August 9, 2022 elections.
"Mpaka tusafishe takataka ya bwana Chebukati, kabla hatujasafisha yake, haina haja ya waKenya kurudi kwa kiwanja kupiga kura mwaka wa 2027," he said. (Before we clear the mess created by Chebukati, there will be no need to go back to the ballot and and vote in 2027).
