Popular Ugandan musician Chris Evans Kaweesi recently broke into tears during an interview on live TV, talking about how musicians have failed to promote his career.

The 'Rihanna' hitmaker emotionally narrated how his fellow artistes had failed him.

Evans told the host he joined the music industry knowing that musicians were united.

"What I talk about is music, the business of music. I came into music knowing that we are united. But we are in business and begging people to give you a drop. You ask for a drop from someone and demand it for years."

The singer said the music industry is full of dishonest people.

In Kenya, gospel singer Jimmy Gait once cried on a live TV interview, narrating how he had worked very hard for the music industry yet Kenyans betrayed him.

"People are insulting me and saying all sorts of all things. It is difficult for me. I am human. I have emotions, and feelings," Gait said.
