On Tuesday, Senate Speaker Amason Kingi officially communicated the names of the House leadership.
Following the announcement, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina who was named the deputy minority Whip of the Senate thanked his party leader Raila Odinga for the position.
In a tweet, the outspoken senator assured Raila that he will deliver.
"Thank you Raila Odinga I shall deliver. God willing," he said.
Ledama will assist Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo who is the senate minority whip.
Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot was named majority leader, and he will be deputised by his Nakuru counterpart Tabitha Karanja.
Kakamega's Boni Khalwale and Samburu senator Steve Lelegwe are the majority whip and deputy majority whip respectively.
The speaker also announced Senators Steward Madzayo and Enoch Wambua as minority leader and his deputy.
Nairobi senator had earlier on been selected by Azimio as the deputy minority whip, before the changes were made.
