The Kenya national rugby sevens team Shujaa suffered a 0-36 loss to England in the RWC 7s Challenge semi-final at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

Tom Emery converted a try to fire the victors into a 7-0 lead in the opening minute of the first half.

Jamie Adamson grounded the ball on Shujaa's goal line for England's second try in the dying minutes of the first half to earn them a 12-0 edge heading into the break.

After the restart, England landed four tries through Jamie Adamson, Tom Mitchel, Calum Randle and Will Homer with two tries being converted successfully.

The Kenyan lads displayed pure class right from the off to carry an emphatic 17-0 lead into the break.

Man-of-the-match, Vincent Onyala, Billy Odhiambo and Nelson Oyoo each grounded the ball over the opponents' goal-line for Shujaa's three tries.

Shujaa bowed out of the Cup contention after crushing 22-7 to Argentina in Cape Town, South Africa on Friday.

Their campaign got off to a flying start with a 19-0 thumping of Tonga that secured them a berth in the round of 16.

Shujaa will now face the USA on Sunday in the RWC7s Challenge 11 at 5:42 pm EAT.
