IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati on Friday together with a section of commissioners paid their last respect to the late Returning Officer for Embakasi East Daniel Musyoka.

They attended the funeral which took place in Muuani Village , Muthetheni ward , Mwala sub county for the burial.

Musyoka went missing on August 11 at 9:45 am and his body was found four days later at Mariko in Loitoktok, Kajiado County.

Chebukati called for a speedy probe into the murder and charging of those involved.

As a result, Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji directed the Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai to undertake comprehensive investigations into the murder of the IEBC Returning Officer.
