Deputy President William Ruto has won the Kesses constituency in the ongoing verification of presidential votes.

The DP garnered 45,653 votes against Azimio's Raila Odinga who got 8,966 votes.

George Wajackoyah of Roots party got 88 votes while Agano party David Mwaure managed 61 votes.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission said the constituency had 77,992 registered voters, 54,768 valid votes and 334 rejected votes.

IEBC has seven days after the election day to announce the president-elect.
