Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga defeated his rivals in the presidential tally in Lang'ata constituency, Nairobi county.

Raila garnered a total of 51,223 votes against UDA candidate Deputy President William Ruto.

The ODM leader served as the Lang'ata MP from 1992 to 2007.

Ruto got 27,871 votes out of the 80,156 valid votes cast.

IEBC confirmed that the number of registered voters was 145,870.

George Wajackoyah of Roots got 528 votes, while David Mwaure of Agano managed 534 votes.

1,189 ballots were rejected.

The commission must verify results from all 290 constituencies and the diaspora votes before announcing the president-elect.
