Dr Gideon Ochanda was on Wednesday night announced the winner of the Bondo Constituency parliamentary election.

Ochanda was vying on an ODM ticket.

Constituency Returning Officer Dennis Omari Obara declared that Ochanda had triumphed over three other candidates with a whopping 69,574.

Humphrey Opondo, Namal Oronye and John Barack who were competing against Ochanda got 2510, 976 and 556 votes, respectively.

Bondo is the home county of ODM leader and Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
