Kenya's Kandie takes silver behind Uganda's Kiplimo in men's race

Kandie finished at 58:54 while Kiplimo finished the race in 58:49 minutes in Poland.

Kenya's Kibiwott Kandie has won silver in the World Half Marathon men's race coming second after Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo.

Kandie finished at 58:54 while Kiplimo finished the race in 58:49 minutes in Poland. 

"We feel very great and we are very happy. I am happy that I have broken the record. The course was really good I really, " Kiplimo said.

Amedework Walelegn of Ethiopia came in third to win bronze in 59:08.

He was followed by Joshua Cheptegei who was surprisingly beaten into 4th in 59:21.
