

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has outlined several high-profile corruption-related cases scheduled for mention, ruling, hearing and judgment this week as efforts to recover public assets and prosecute graft suspects continue.
Among the key matters is a judgment in the Ken Kiptoo case involving the recovery of Kitale Municipality Block 12/153.
The courts will also deliver rulings in cases involving Irina Health over a Sh282.4 million Turkana recovery suit, Samwel Cherunge Yegon in a Sh15 million Marigat land recovery case, former Nyeri Lands Registrar John Ndirangu in a Sh200,000 bribery case,
Gerald Chege Gitau in the Kahawa West government land dispute, and Rubis Energy Kenya PLC in the Kenol Kobil public land recovery suit.
Meanwhile, hearings are scheduled in the alleged Sh301.9 million fraud case against former Deputy Prisons Commissioner General Benjamin Obuya Njoga and the Sh800 million Ministry of Health tender recovery suit involving Estama Investments Ltd.
The cases form part of EACC's ongoing anti-corruption and asset recovery efforts.
