Germany remains the leading host of Ukrainian refugees, sheltering about 1.3 million people displaced by the war, according to the latest figures from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Poland ranks second with 979,000 refugees, followed by Czechia with 396,000.
Other European nations hosting significant numbers of Ukrainians include the United Kingdom (263,000), Spain (256,000), Romania (199,000), Italy (176,000) and Slovakia (151,000).
Moldova, despite its relatively small population, continues to host 139,000 refugees, while the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, Norway and Bulgaria also feature among the top destinations.
The figures highlight the continued impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which has triggered one of the largest displacement crises in Europe since World War II.
Millions of Ukrainians have sought safety abroad since the conflict began in February 2022.
Host countries have provided temporary protection, housing, education, healthcare and employment opportunities to displaced Ukrainians, while international agencies continue to support long-term humanitarian and integration efforts across the continent.
