In 2024, Iran’s top trading partners were dominated by major regional and global economies.

China stood first, absorbing the largest share of Iranian exports—especially oil—and supplying a wide range of imported goods.

Other key partners included the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, India, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Germany, South Korea, and the Netherlands.

These countries feature prominently in both Iran’s export destinations and sources of imports, reflecting Iran’s economic links across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Trade goods range from crude oil and petrochemicals to machinery, food products, and industrial equipment.
