Spending Christmas Day alone can feel heavy, but it doesn’t have to be empty or lonely. Start by creating a simple routine that gives the day shape, such as cooking a favourite meal or taking a quiet walk.

Stay connected by calling or messaging friends and family, even briefly. Do something comforting, like watching a movie you love, listening to music, or reading.

Helping others can also lift your mood, whether through volunteering, donating, or checking in on someone else who may be alone. Most importantly, be kind to yourself and remember that the day will pass.
