
Tanzania is the most preferred alternative residence for Kenyans within East Africa, according to findings from the Glass House Brand Trust Report 2025.
The survey shows that 35.25% of respondents would choose Tanzania if they had to relocate from Kenya.
Rwanda follows closely with 31.50%, reflecting its growing appeal among Kenyans.
Uganda ranks third at 20.0%, while Burundi and South Sudan trail with 7.25% and 3.50% respectively.
A combined 2.50% of respondents selected other countries in the region, including Ethiopia, Somaliland, and Somalia.
The survey highlights regional perceptions and preferences among Kenyans, with Tanzania and Rwanda emerging as top choices.
