
The Safari Sevens Rugby Championship 2025 saw thrilling action from October 10-12 at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.
Champions and Top Performers
The tournament ended with Kenya Shujaa crowned as the Men's Champions, while the Kenya Lionesses took the title for the Women's Champions.
Individual honours were claimed by Kenyan players, with Samuel Asati named the Men’s Player of the Final and Janet Okello earning the Women's Player of the Final.
Among the top scorers, Sam Kildunne of UK Select led the way with 9 tries.
The Women's Top Try Scorer list featured Paula Rakeena of the Costa Blanca Barbarians and Charlotte Woodman of Shogun, both scoring 7 tries.
Woodman, playing for Shogun, was also a standout in the overall rankings, appearing second on the Top Points Scorers list behind Sam Kildunne of UK Select. The intense competition highlighted the best of Sevens rugby talent.
