Former President Uhuru Kenyatta addressed delegates at the Jubilee Party’s National Delegates Convention (NDC) held on September 26, 2025, at the Jockey Club, Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi, emphasising unity, reflection on past achievements, and preparation for future elections.

Uhuru said that during his presidency, “all the work we did was for everyone,” noting that many of the gains achieved during that period have since been eroded.

He criticised the replacement of programs such as Linda Mama with what he described as “new, untried, untested schemes.”

He observed that some of the truths highlighted in the past have now become “the realities of today.” Reflecting on the last general election, Uhuru noted that his message “fell on deaf ears amid myths of dynasties and so on.”

The former president called for unity within the party and discouraged divisive politics.
