    The park, which was gazetted in 1984, covers an area of 68.2 square kilometers and sits at an altitude of 5,000 to 7,000 feet. It is easily accessible, located just 90 km from Nairobi.

    Beyond its striking geology, Hells Gate is home to various natural attractions, including the Ol Karia Geothermal Power Station and features such as Hell's Kitchen and Kapartania View Point.

    For adventurers, the park offers two main walking nature trails: the Hobley's Volcano and the Ol Basta Rock Tower. Visitors can also discover hidden gems like Lake View Point, Mobeni, and obsidian caves, making it a perfect destination for scenic picnics, nature walks, and a truly immersive experience in the Kenyan wilderness.
