Across several constituencies, fully completed public projects are sitting idle, raising serious concerns about resource mismanagement.

From lecture rooms at Aro TTC in Turkana South to dormitories in Samburu East and ICT hubs in Limuru and Mbooni, facilities worth Sh101 million remain unused and are deteriorating due to neglect.

In Kangundo, four classrooms at Kitwii Boys Primary are among the structures gathering dust.

Embakasi North also features prominently, with Sh23 million spent on various projects that have yet to serve their intended purpose.

The audit covering the Financial Year 2023/2024 highlights a troubling pattern: infrastructure is being built but not integrated into community use.

Without urgent action, these investments risk becoming permanent losses, undermining public trust and development goals.

The findings point to a need for stronger oversight, accountability, and follow-through to ensure that completed projects deliver real value to the communities they were meant to serve.
