If you suspect you’ve been drugged, act immediately.

Do not wait—seek emergency medical care as soon as possible and clearly tell the medical staff that you may have been drugged, requesting an immediate toxicology screen.

Avoid showering or changing clothes, as this may destroy critical evidence used during examination.

If available, ask for a forensic exam (rape kit) to test for substances and preserve evidence in case of further investigation.

Time is critical—many common drugging agents leave the body rapidly, so prompt testing is vital.
