
Sibiloi National Park, located in Marsabit County, is renowned as the "cradle of mankind" due to its rich archaeological significance.
Established in 1973, the park spans an area of 1,570 sq km and sits on the rugged shores of Lake Turkana.
The park's altitude ranges between 1,000 and 2,000 feet. It's situated approximately 800 km from Nairobi.
The park is home to the Koobi Fora archaeological site, where evidence of man's origins has been found.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including game viewing, camping, walking and boat safaris, and picnicking. The park also hosts the world's largest Nile crocodile colonies.
