Hustler Fund: Age of borrowers

The Financial Inclusion Fund, also known as the Hustler Fund, was launched on November 30, 2022, with a startup capital of Sh50 billion.

By December 2023, over Sh9.6 billion had been disbursed.

A breakdown of borrowers by age shows 33% are aged 18–29 years, 30% are 30–39 years, 19% are 40–49 years, 10% are 50–59 years, 5% are 60–69 years, and 2% are over 69 years.

The data highlights that the largest share of borrowers are below 40.
