    In 2024, HIV/AIDS deaths in Kenya were highest among the 35-44 age group, with 733 fatalities recorded.

    This was followed by the 45-54 age group, which saw 613 deaths. The number of deaths decreases significantly in older age brackets, with 333 deaths in the 55-64 age group and 278 deaths for those 65 and older.

    Tragically, the data also highlights the impact on younger populations, with 454 deaths among 25-34 year olds and 113 deaths in the 15-24 age group.

    The youngest cohorts also saw fatalities, with 11 deaths in the neonatal category, 14 among those under one year old, 16 for children aged 1-4, and 24 for children aged 5-14.
