Forecast of the world population in 2024 and 2100 by continent (In billions)

The largest growth will occur in Africa, where the population is projected to surge from 1.52 billion to 3.81 billion.

According to Statista projections, the global population is expected to rise from 8.16 billion in 2024 to 10.18 billion by 2100.

The largest growth will occur in Africa, where the population is projected to surge from 1.52 billion to 3.81 billion.

In contrast, Asia, currently the most populous continent with 4.81 billion people, is expected to see a slight decline to 4.61 billion.

Europe’s population will fall from 0.75 billion to 0.59 billion, while North America will grow slightly from 0.39 billion to 0.47 billion.

South America and the Caribbean will see a minor decrease.
