The Kenya Kwanza administration is now in the middle of its term since coming into office on September 13, 2022.

The government on Tuesday released its mid-term scorecard saying it's on track to implementing its Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura said among the gains is a spurred MSME economy, which has created jobs and enabled financial resilience.

Mwaura said thus far disbursed Sh63.5 million to 26.3 million beneficiaries.

He said a further Sh196.8 million has been disbursed to micro and small businesses.

He said the fund boasts of 1.3 million repeat borrowers.
