The 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results were released on January 9, 2025.
At the top, 1,693 students achieved an A grade, showcasing exceptional academic excellence.
Additionally, 7,743 scored A-, and 19,150 earned a B+, marking them as high achievers.
A further 43,120 secured a B, while 75,347 obtained B-.
The middle and lower tiers tell a different story. C+ grades totaled 99,338, while 111,717 students earned a C.
Another 118,781 received C-, and 128,885 scored D+. Alarmingly, 353,154 candidates scored D or below, including 48,333 who recorded E grades.
