President William Ruto and Kenya's AUC chairman candidate, Raila Odinga, met six African leaders on the sidelines of the high-level Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit (FOCAC) in Beijing, China. on Wednesday.
Raila is seeking to become the next African Union Commission chairman. For this reason, Ruto has been holding bilateral meetings with African leaders to boost Raila's numbers in the vote slated for February 2025.
He also sought support for Raila's candidature for AU Commission chairmanship.
